To mark International Women’s Day 2026, we’ve once again partnered with Not Beyond Redemption, the UK-based charity, to create a film that focuses on the realities faced by mothers separated from their children during incarceration and the powerful testimonies of women who’ve benefited from the vital support that Not Beyond Redemption provides – support that serves as a great example of IWD2026’s core theme, Give To Gain, in action. The charity’s core ethos is that legal assistance should be accessible to those who need it most, regardless of their financial circumstances. Through providing free family law advice and representation to mothers in prison, NBR seeks to help women re-establish and maintain contact with their children during their sentence and upon release. Our film aims to give audiences a much clearer understanding of these women’s lives, encourage viewers to give what they can to support NBR’s vital work – and how our society gains as a whole because of NBR’s efforts.
